Woman Reveals Unbelievable Transformation of Boyfriend's Drastic Haircut

The difference a haircut can make should never be underestimated. For many, a haircut can act as a mask, almost completely changing one's features depending on the style.

Whilst a good haircut can benefit a person, a bad haircut can be detrimental, with the distraction of a trim that doesn't quite suit the head it's on often taking away from other attractive qualities.

One woman's video of her boyfriend before and after a drastic hair transformation has resulted in thousands of comments about his glow-up.

The video, shared by Jess Diskin to her TikTok account (@jessdiskin), has gained a million likes and 8.2 million views since being shared on April 9.

Diskin's boyfriend, Oisin Mullin, who plays in the Australian Football League, had been growing his brown hair for over four years.

The Irish-born athlete was undergoing a big chop in aid of Cancer Fund for Children's Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Ireland, raising over €7,000 ($7,542) in the process.

Diskin's video showed Mullin leave the house with his back-length hair tied behind him, only to return with a significantly shorter new look in the second part of the video, which she had captioned: "Hair reveal! Man bun no more."

After his trip to the barbers, Mullin returned with a new style he couldn't keep his hands off, running them through his hair as his girlfriend captured the moment.

Showing just how much hair he had cut, Mullin held up three loose plaits of his hair with a smile as he showed off his fresh trim.

What Do the Comments Say?

The comments section of the video was filled with messages from viewers who were big fans of Mullin's dramatic hair transformation, with many commending Diskin for sticking by him through the longer length. One user said, "You saw the vision," and a second commented: "She knew!"

The transformation was called a "major glow up!" by one viewer, whilst another said he looks "so much more handsome" thanks to the new hairstyle.

Another fifth user remarked how "hair does change everything", and one user was reminded of an iconic hair transformation in cinema, commenting, "Like the Jacob transformation from long to short hair in Twilight, we like!"

Whilst most viewers favored the new style, asking Diskin to "keep it that way girl. He's so handsome where on earth you get this kind of man," others preferred his old look, as one commented, "bring the long hair back!!!"
