Cat Steals Husky's Bed and His Reaction Is 'Precious'

The moment a Bengal cat claims his husky brother's bed has gone viral on Instagram.

The hilarious clip shows Toshi peacefully sleeping in the middle of the dog's bed while the much larger canine awkwardly sits in the corner.

Nuki, the dog, appears to be a gentle giant as he refuses to push the feline out of the way despite being around five times bigger.

So far, the video shared to the @bengal_cat_toshi14 account has racked up 640,000 views since it was shared on March 14.

The clip is captioned: "Definitely a depresso moment. We are so lucky that Nuki turned out to be an amazing big brother!" It has amassed over 27,750 likes.

In the comments, the owner told another user that Nuki was "so confused."

The pet owner wrote: "This was during a time when he wasn't sure if he was supposed to be this close to Toshi so for him to be on his bed he was like 'mum is this ok?'"

Male Siberian Huskies weigh 45 to 60 lbs and are between 21 to 23.5 inches tall, according to the American Kennel Club. A Bengal cat weighs no more than 11 pounds, per Hill's Pets Nutrition.

The American pet food company states, "The Bengal cat is actually very sweet and loving, despite the fact that many people think of it as a wild cat that just acts domesticated. The Bengal breed is devoted to its people and forms strong bonds with them. The Bengal cat is an athletic, large cat that gets satisfaction from running, jumping, and playing. These cats are alert and inquisitive."

Even though Nuki isn't a human, this may still apply to their friendship as the pair seem inseparable in other videos. The duo are seen walking in beautiful scenery while sporting leashes. However, it appears that Toshi still needs to learn how to share a bed.

So far, the video has gained a lot of attention online and many users can't help but feel sorry for Nuki.

One user said: "Poor big brother, it's no space in your bed."

"Bless his heart! He obviously doesn't want to hurt little brother, but darn he would like to go to bed too!!!" said another.

A third commenter said: "Aww! He's being so patient."

Another user wrote: "Precious!"

This isn't the first time Newsweek has shared an article about a dog getting the short straw—despite being their owner's pet first.
