Dog Has Hilariously 'Aggressive' Way of Demanding Food

The hilarious way one dog let his owner know that breakfast wasn't coming fast enough has gained viral attention online.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Alfie offered his hilarious critique of his owner's breakfast-serving pace, furiously "digging" at his empty bowl.

The message was clear—his food was long overdue.

In a video shared on TikTok by owner @sbt.world.53, the owned laughed: "Such an aggressive way of telling me I'm too slow."

While the overlaid text on the video read: "Today breakfast wasn't served quick enough for Alfie's liking... So he decided to make his point in the most obnoxious way possible."

Despite not being able to tell time in the same way humans can, dogs do understand routine, particularly when their food is due.

Often your pet will associate times of day and certain cues with mealtime. Be it you picking up their bowl or a particular smell that comes around mealtime, most owners will be familiar with dogs becoming excited and following them around as lunch, dinner or breakfast approaches.

Alfie's hilarious demand has gained an impressive 305,000 views sparking a flood of comments from other animal lovers.

TikToker evoncox said "Love it! It's time to eat!!" while user Outofsanity pondered: "Does he think there is an emergency stash inside the bowl?"

"Dogs be the most dramatic around feeding time," agreed viewer That_formidable_1.

And another TikTok user joked: "How to call the manager," while viewer Liam Higginson shared, "This has made my day. They're just the best dogs!"

Some owners even had similar experiences of doggy demands: "My collie girl does this when she wants feeding," Sarah wrote: "It's hilarious."

This isn't the first time a pet's dinner requests have gained viral attention, like the basset hound that wanted his owner to cook his dinner, or the feisty cat and dog who worked together to demand their meals.

One spoiled Chihuahua even refuses to eat her dinner unless it is prepared exactly to her liking. Indeed, Bailey gained viral attention after she turned her nose up at her dinner—until her owner pretended to warm it up in the microwave.

"She won't eat dinner until it's 'prepared' hooman style," the owner said.
